Nelson Bays Marquee and Events Hire

1. Definitions

1.1 The hirer refers to the customer of Nelson Bays Marquee and Events Hire and the person, company or individual that ordered the goods and/or services.
1.2 The Seller refers to Nelson Bays Marquee and Events Hire, the provider of the goods and/or associated services.


2. Hire terms

2.1 All goods supplied to the hirer remain the property of the seller.
2.2 Hire is for 4 consecutive days hire, under the understanding that items are used for 1 day. The generous length is to allow for pick up the day before the
event and return the day after the event. There is no discount for shorter hire periods.
2.3 On acceptance of quote an onsite visit may be carried out by the seller to determine site location for suitability for hire goods and/or services. The seller
reserves the right to refuse delivery and services if site is not deemed suitable.
2.4 Hire location and surface must be agreed to by the seller before securing a booking. If upon delivery it is not an agreed location or surface the seller reserves the right to refuse to deliver or supply, the hirer shall be chargeable in respect to all the hire charges.
2.5 Upon leaving the store the hirer becomes responsible for all and every risk, loss, or damage, and will be chargeable in respect thereof.
2.6 The hirer is liable for any damage caused to the goods during the hire period and any cleaning costs if goods are returned soiled, defaced by writing, drawing or other means.


3. Payments

3.1 All Prices listed include Gst and are subject to change without notice
3.2 A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure bookings. If no deposit is received, items are subject to availability only.
3.3 Full payment is required 10 days before goods leave the store. In circumstances where full payment has not been made the seller reserves the right to refuse to deliver or supply, the hirer shall be chargeable in respect to all the hire charges.


4. Cancellation

4.1 Items are held for you on confirmation of booked as stipulated in 3.2- we allow for slight adjustment of numbers, however, any item on your booking will be charge for in full if cancelled as we will have possibly turned down bookings for these items.


5. Delivery

5.1 All goods are carefully checked when packed. It is the hirer’s responsibility to check the good upon delivery and immediately notify the seller of any items
supplied from the items ordered, or any damaged items. Complaints made after the return or pick up of goods will not be considered.
5.2 Delivery is not included in the hire price. The hirer shall pay for all delivery costs or services provided by the seller.
5.3 The hirer is liable to pay any hire costs for items retained or unavailable beyond the hire period specified, and pay any costs consequent.
5.4 The seller shall make their best effort to supply the hirer with the goods requested, but reserve the right to supply you with similar goods.
5.5 Deliveries made to third parties or unoccupied premises are made entirely at the hirer’s risk.
5.6 The hirer and/or anyone representing the hirer or person responsible for the hire equipment are deemed to have read, understood and accepted the Terms and Condition of this agreement. If you require any further
